Hello!
Welcome to my digital footprint. I am Jennifer Wegmann, a graduate student at the University of Kansas currently finishing up my Master’s in Art History. My current research interest center around the intersection of the visual arts, natural and built environments, colonialism and identity, and digital humanities. For many years, I’ve focused on the medieval period, however recently I’ve returned to the academic interests of my youth; politics, environment, and contemporary social issues. Hence the moniker Traveling Medievalist, not only do I enjoy traveling and the medieval period will always be near and dear to my heart, but my academic and teaching interests lie in understanding the world around us now, and helping students develop the skills necessary to explore the world on their own.
